We believe that every child is naturally curious and eager to explore the world around them. At Maloušci daycare, we support the development of skills, independence, and the joy of learning in accordance with the internationally recognized Montessori method, which has been used around the world for over 100 years.

Why Montessori?

The Montessori method is a proven educational system that helps children develop their natural curiosity, independence, and love of learning. Its benefits are confirmed not only by experts but also by successful Montessori graduates – including Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Jeff Bezos (Amazon), Princes William and Harry, and Nobel laureate Gabriel García Márquez.
Montessori pedagogy is based on scientific knowledge of sensitive periods in a child’s development – phases when children naturally learn certain skills with ease and genuine interest. If encouraged correctly during these periods, learning becomes a joyful experience for them.

How does the Montessori method work?

„Help me do it by myself.“ – The child is given space to explore on their own, allowing them to be independent.
Prepared environment – Montessori classrooms are organized so that children have free access to materials that meet their developmental needs.
Free choice – Children choose activities that interest them while learning to respect others.
Working with mistakes – Montessori materials include an "error control" feature, so children can discover and correct their mistakes themselves. This fosters independence and boosts their self-confidence. We follow the motto, "Mistakes are friends."
Holistic learning – Children connect knowledge from various areas, learning through movement and senses, which supports their natural development.

We respect the sensitive phases of a child's growth

Every child has their unique learning rhythm. We help them discover the world at their own pace.

Sensitive period for language learning – Children under 6 are naturally attuned to acquiring language. We support communication through various activities, encouraging both passive and active language use.
Sensitive period for order – Between 18 months and 2.5 years, children intuitively seek an organized environment. We teach them how to maintain order and involve them in daily tasks such as cleaning and food preparation.
Support for independence and internal motivation – Children are never forced into anything. Through Montessori materials and practical activities, we foster their coordination, focus, and ability to learn with joy.
